**Job Title:** Senior Salesforce Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, development, and deployment of a new Salesforce instance for a digital mortgage business. Act as the technical subject‑matter expert for the Salesforce platform, integrating AI‑driven mortgage workflows with internal and external systems, enforcing security/compliance, and ensuring high‑quality, maintainable solutions that enhance the customer journey.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience with Salesforce architecture, development, and administration in a complex enterprise setting.
- Proven track record of building and deploying end‑to‑end Salesforce solutions, including Lightning components, Apex classes, and integration points.
- Strong background in data management, security design, and automated testing within Salesforce.
- Experience working cross‑functionally in marketing, sales, claims, and IT environments.
- Familiarity with AI concepts (e.g., service orchestration, API‑based ML workloads) is a plus.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, configure, and develop Salesforce solutions (Lightning pages, Apex triggers, Flow, Process Builder, Visualforce, custom objects).
- Create, test, and implement data import, cleansing, and transformation processes.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and third‑party integration platforms.
- Implement and maintain security controls, permission sets, sharing rules, and data‑privacy compliance.
- Develop automated tests (unit, integration, UAT) and manage release cycles, upgrades, and production deployments.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot defects, and provide timely resolution in collaboration with QA.
- Support end‑users: diagnose issues, deliver training, and produce documentation.
- Proactively identify and research opportunities for new or enhanced Salesforce capabilities that benefit mortgage operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements, shape solution design, and communicate technical decisions.
**Required Skills:**
- Salesforce Platform (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flow, Process Builder).
- System Administration (user setup, security, data model management).
- Integration (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools such as Mulesoft, Boomi).
- Data management (Data Loader, Dataloader.io, cleansing, transformation).
- Security & compliance (SOPs, GDPR, PCI‑DSS awareness).
- Automated testing frameworks (Unit Tests, Lightning Test Service, Apex Test classes).
- Release management (Change Sets, Packages, Scratch orgs, CI/CD pipelines).
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and documentation.
- Familiarity with mortgage or fintech domains and AI/ML service integration desirable.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Salesforce certifications preferred (Platform Developer II, Platform App Builder, Administrator, or equivalent).
