Job Description
**Job Title** Supply Chain Intern **Role Summary** A 10‑week summer internship focused on procurement, inventory management, and supply‑chain optimization within the electrical construction sector. Interns partner with purchasing and project‑management teams to source materials, negotiate with vendors, track orders, and support process improvement initiatives. **Expectations** - Full‑time commitment for 10 weeks during summer. - Current enrollment at a college or university, scheduled to graduate by August 2027. - Minimum 3.0 GPA in upper‑division courses for the major (or 2.75 overall) and demonstrated academic performance. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Source materials, tools, and equipment for active construction projects. 2. Research and qualify vendors based on cost, quality, and lead time. 3. Assist in negotiating pricing and contractual terms. 4. Track and manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and backorders to ensure on‑time delivery. 5. Support inventory control to optimize stock levels and reduce waste. 6. Maintain and update procurement records in ERP systems (e.g., Spectrum, Procore). 7. Coordinate with project managers and field teams to meet material requirements. 8. Participate in leadership development activities (e.g., book club). 9.
