**Job Title**
Project Manager – Faculty and Departmental Diversity Initiatives (Equity & Inclusion)
**Role Summary**
Lead program and project administration for faculty and departmental diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and justice initiatives. Manage a portfolio of events, networks, consulting, training, and award programs while coordinating communications, web presence, and administrative logistics.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Schedule, manage, and track calendars for DEI events, seminars, retreats, and meetings.
- Coordinate departmental DEIBJ planning and consult on DEIBJ issues across departments and divisions.
- Lead training and professional development initiatives for faculty and staff.
- Organize meetings with senior leadership (Cabinet, Council of Deans, etc.) and manage related logistics.
- Administer program/project operations: network support, event logistics, communications, meeting materials, intake processes, training coordination, infrastructure development, ordering, reimbursements, and staffing.
- Create and maintain DEI web pages and microsites; update policies and resources.
- Develop communication tools for faculty equity advisors, chief diversity officers, and other DEI networks.
- Manage the annual CAXIEE award cycle, including nominations, selection, and reception event planning.
- Support ad‑hoc and special projects, conduct post‑event data analysis, and research DEI literature to inform best practices.
- Provide general administrative support (purchasing, reimbursements, event logistics) and maintain proficiency with campus systems.
**Required Skills**
- Deep understanding of DEI issues in higher education.
- Advanced project management (portfolio, scheduling, risk, budgeting).
- Administrative operations: event planning, materials management, risk planning, website administration, budgeting, accounting.
- Strong communication: clear written and verbal skills, stakeholder engagement, presentation abilities.
- Analytical skills for post‑event data collection and reporting.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Business Administration, Communications, Public Policy).
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Certified Associate in Project Management, or equivalent) are a plus but not mandatory.
