Job Title: Cloud Architect (Future Opportunity) Role Summary: Lead the design, implementation, and governance of secure, scalable, and resilient multi‑cloud architectures for a DoD program. Serve as the primary technical authority for cloud strategy across AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP, hybrid, and tactical edge environments, ensuring compliance with DoD SRG and evolving mission requirements. Expectations: - U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance. - 10+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ in cloud engineering, cybersecurity, or systems engineering. - DoD 8140 Role and Information Assurance Technical (IAT) II+ or Information Assurance Management (IAM) II+ certification (e.g., CISSP, Security+, SecurityX). - Proven expertise with at least one major cloud provider; multi‑cloud proficiency preferred. - Demonstrated leadership in technical engagements with government customers, contractors, and CSPs. - Ability to develop and maintain technical roadmaps, reference architectures, and documentation. - Excellent oral and written communication skills at all organizational levels. - Familiarity with DoD security requirements and compliance frameworks. Key Responsibilities: • Architect and implement cloud infrastructure across one or more CSPs, focusing on scalability, automation, performance, and availability. • Conduct cloud accreditation reviews and align solutions with DoD 8140 IA and security requirements. • Facilitate discussions with technical teams, stakeholders, and CAP teams to integrate solutions into mission architecture. • Manage and optimize circuit connections to the Classified Access Gateway (CAP). • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve integration and security issues.
