AGE Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer - Cloud to join our team on an upcoming program supporting our DoD customer in Ft. Meade, MD. In this role, you will support the design, development and deployment of cloud cyber security solutions in a secure Department of Defense (DoD) environment. This position requires expertise in an understanding of major cloud platforms and technologies as well as the ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and manage RMF processes
Help design and maintain secure systems
Monitor and respond to security events as needed
Develop and enforce security policies
Support security program management
Required Skills, Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Ten (10) years of general experience with at least 5 years in Computer Science or related engineering field
Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance
DoD 8140 Role and Information Assurance Technical (IAT) II+ or Information Assurance Management (IAM) II+ Certification (i.e. CISSP, SecurityX, Security+ etc.)
Demonstrated expertise in RMF/IA with a particular focus and knowledge on cloud technologies and cloud deployments
Knowledge of DoD RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and A&A processes
Experience preparing and maintaining RMF documentation (SSP, SAR, POA&M)
Knowledge of secure system and network architecture design
Experience with system hardening and compliance with DISA STIGs
Experience with personnel and industrial security management (clearances, access control)
Experience with security training, awareness, and briefings
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Compensation: $145,000 - $165,000
This position is part of a pipeline for a future opportunity supporting a DoD customer. Employment is contingent upon contract award and government customer approval.
