Agentic AI Engineer
Job Description
Job Title: Senior Agentic AI Engineer Role Summary: Lead architect and developer of durable, stateful AI workflow orchestration for an enterprise-grade agentic platform. Design and implement reliable, long‑running agent pipelines that manage retries, failures, verification, and data capture across secure, isolated environments. Expectations: • 6–12 month contract, senior-level. • Deliver production‑grade Python services and orchestration logic that meet reliability, auditability, and compliance standards. • Coordinate cross‑team requirements and integrate with existing secure systems. Key Responsibilities: • Design and build durable, retry‑enabled agent workflows using Temporal, Cadence, Airflow, or equivalent. • Implement orchestration engines that coordinate multiple AI agents across isolated execution runtimes. • Develop system‑level context models (software dependency graphs, impact analysis, compliance boundaries) for agent reasoning. • Create intelligent data‑retrieval pipelines, filtering for high‑signal operational data while reducing noise. • Produce auditable, traceable logs and records aligned with regulated environment requirements. • Optimize performance of event‑driven systems (Kafka or similar) and vector‑search retrieval. Required Skills: • Production‑grade Python (object‑oriented). • Workflow orchestration frameworks (Temporal/Cadence/ Airflow). • Event‑driven architecture (Kafka or equivalent). • Graph and relational data modeling. • Vector search / embedding‑based retrieval. • Distributed systems and asynchronous workflow design. • Experience building stateful, multi‑step agentic systems. • Knowledge of secure, isolated execution environments (sandboxing/containers) and compliance considerations.
