Senior Agentic AI Engineer (Python & Distributed Workflows)

About the Role

We are building an enterprise-grade agentic AI platform designed to autonomously execute and validate complex modernization tasks inside highly secure environments. This role focuses on designing stateful, long-running AI workflows that operate reliably across distributed systems.

This is not a chatbot role. You’ll work on the orchestration layer that enables autonomous agents to plan, execute, verify, and recover from failures at scale.

What You’ll Do

Design and implement durable, long-running agent workflows capable of handling retries, failures, and verification cycles.
Build orchestration logic that coordinates AI agents operating across secure, isolated execution environments.
Develop system-level context models that allow agents to reason about software dependencies, impact analysis, and compliance boundaries.
Implement intelligent data-retrieval pipelines that selectively retain high-signal operational data while minimizing noise.
Ensure all automated actions produce auditable, traceable records suitable for regulated environments.

Core Technologies

Python (production-grade, object-oriented systems)
Workflow orchestration (Temporal, Cadence, Airflow, or similar)
Event-driven systems (Kafka or equivalent)
Graph & relational data modeling
Vector search / embedding-based retrieval

What We’re Looking For

Experience building agentic systems that manage state, tools, and multi-step execution.
Strong understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous workflows.
Ability to reason about software dependency graphs and system-level impact.
Comfort working with legacy systems and regulated environments.

Nice to Have

Experience with isolated execution environments or sandboxed runtimes
Background in large-scale system modernization
Financial services or compliance-driven domains
