Job Description: Job Title: ServiceNow Engineer Role Summary: Design, develop, and support scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform, focusing on reducing backlog, enhancing system performance, and aligning with IT governance. Operate within cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement and deliver high‑quality releases. Expectations: - Hands‑on ServiceNow development for at least 3 years, with strong understanding of ITSM modules. - Demonstrated ability to analyze complex requirements, propose architectural solutions, and deliver on schedule. - Onshore presence required; remote work not permitted. - Continuous engagement in backlog management, system enhancements, and process optimization. Key Responsibilities: - Design, code, and implement ServiceNow components (business rules, workflows, service catalog, reporting, integrations). - Analyze requirements, create scalable technical designs, and provide solution estimates. - Resolve platform backlog items and coordinate release activities. - Identify and propose process and performance improvements. - Collaborate with IT governance and service management teams to ensure compliance with standards and best practices. Required Skills: - 3+ years of direct ServiceNow development experience. - Proficiency in ServiceNow ITSM modules. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities. - Engineering mindset with capacity to design comprehensive solutions. - Experience managing platform enhancements and backlog items. Preferred Skills: - 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience. - Experience with ITOM and/or IRM modules. - Background in Service Management or IT governance environments. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Relevant ServiceNow certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
