About the Role

We are looking for a ServiceNow Engineer/Developer with a strong engineering mindset and hands-on platform experience. This role requires someone who can analyze requirements, design scalable solutions, and drive improvements—not just execute development tasks.

As part of the Service Management Team, you will support the governance and oversight of IT functions while helping enhance and optimize the ServiceNow platform. Initially, this role will focus on addressing platform backlogs and system improvements, with project work expanding over time.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement, and support solutions on the ServiceNow platform
Analyze complex requirements and develop scalable technical solutions
Manage and resolve platform backlogs and system enhancements
Configure and develop ServiceNow components, including business rules, workflows, service catalog, reporting, and integrations
Provide development estimates and support release activities
Identify opportunities to improve processes and platform performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with IT governance and best practices

Required Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience
Experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work onsite in Scottsdale, AZ (required)
Experience managing platform enhancements and backlog items
Strong engineering mindset with the ability to think through solutions

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of ServiceNow development experience
Experience with ITOM (IT Operations Management) – a plus
Experience with IRM (Integrated Risk Management) – highly preferred
Experience working within Service Management or IT governance teams
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
