**Job Title** Senior Systems Engineer (Voice Engineering) **Role Summary** Senior Systems Engineer delivers end‑to‑end design, implementation, and optimization of complex voice‑centric IT systems. The role collaborates with IT architecture, business partners, and vendors to define strategies and oversee cloud, non‑cloud, and hybrid‑cloud solutions that meet functional, security, and operational requirements. Lead stakeholder and vendor discussions to capture requirements and feasibility analyses for new or modified voice architecture. 2. Deliver and support voice infrastructure, including deployment, tuning, and performance monitoring. 4. Provide hands‑on configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of voice platforms and integrations. 5. Mentor and supervise less experienced engineers; contribute to knowledge sharing and code review processes. 6. Identify risks, document issues, and ensure proper remediation according to organizational processes. 7. Stay current on emerging voice and IT technologies, evaluating applicability to enterprise needs. 8. Present design and status updates to Engineering and Architecture Review Boards. **Required Skills** - **Infrastructure Design**: Windows/Linux servers, VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP), session border controllers, call media gateways. - **Cloud & Hybrid Deployment**: AWS, Azure, or GCP voice services, virtual machines, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), VNET/NSX networking. - **Security & Compliance**: Network segmentation, encryption (TLS/DTLS), access controls, and knowledge of industry standards (ISO/IEC 27001, NIST). - **Automation & Scripting**: PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, Ansible for provisioning and configuration. - **Diagnostics & Troubleshooting**: Log analysis, packet capture (Wireshark), performance monitoring (SNMP, NetFlow). - **Communication & Documentation**: Technical writing, diagramming (Visio, Lucidchart), stakeholder presentation skills. - **Leadership**: Ability to influence cross‑functional teams, manage technical discussions, and mentor junior staff. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field. - 4–7 years of experience in IT infrastructure design, application design, cloud computing, disaster recovery, or voice‑centric technologies. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP Voice, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, VMware Certified Professional). ---
