Job Title: Office Manager Role Summary: Responsible for overseeing daily office operations at the Washington, D.C. headquarters, ensuring efficient administrative support, event coordination, supply management, and compliance with company policies. Collaborates with operations, communications, and HR to manage intern programs, schedule meetings, and maintain a productive work environment. Expectations: Maintain a smooth, organized office environment; handle confidential information with discretion; demonstrate strong ownership and initiative; effectively delegate and prioritize tasks; build positive relationships with internal teams and external partners. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise day‑to‑day office functions and administrative tasks. - Coordinate internal events and participation in archival projects. - Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and orchestrate communications. - Control office supply inventory, coordinate procurement, and oversee mailings. - Liaise with facilities, utilities, and building managers to ensure compliance. - Manage the College Internship program: recruit, interview, hire, and onboard interns. - Prepare reports, update operational procedures, and maintain records. - Ensure all activities adhere to organizational policies and confidentiality requirements. Required Skills: - Proven experience managing office operations and supporting a team. - Proficiency with Google Workspace (Calendar, Docs, Gmail, Sheets, Slides). - Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. - Strong time‑management, discretion, and ability to work independently. - Ability to delegate, prioritize tasks, and maintain positive stakeholder relationships. Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Basic knowledge of HR processes for internship recruitment and onboarding. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, human resources, or related field. - Minimum of five (5) years of related experience or equivalent education/experience combination.
