Job Description
**Job Title:** Head of Marketing & Communications **Role Summary:** Strategic leader responsible for defining and executing the company’s global marketing and communications strategy to elevate brand awareness, support business growth, and engage key audiences (investors, telecom operators, partners). Manages a Communication Officer and may expand the team. Reports directly to the CEO. **Expectations:** - Develop and implement a comprehensive B2B marketing plan aligned with growth objectives. - Strengthen and maintain consistent brand positioning across all channels. - Drive high‑impact communications, including PR, product launches, and crisis messaging. - Translate technical content into clear, market‑focused materials. - Deliver data‑driven insights and reporting to senior leadership and investors. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead creation and execution of marketing strategy, budget planning, and channel mix. - Define brand messaging, visual identity, and positioning frameworks. - Own press relations, corporate communications, and public affairs. - Oversee content strategy (blog, case studies, whitepapers, social media, website) and manage external agency relationships. - Support commercial teams with campaign planning, event coordination, and sales enablement assets (pitch decks, one‑pagers). - Convert technical documentation into customer‑friendly marketing collateral. - Track, analyze, and report key performance metrics; build dashboards and reporting structures. - Manage and mentor the Communication Officer; recruit additional marketing talent as needed. **Required Skills:** - Minimum 10 years B2B marketing experience in telecom, satcom, or high‑tech sectors. - Proven track record in brand strategy, product marketing, and PR. - Strong analytical abilities; proficient with marketing analytics tools and dashboard creation. - Excellent written and verbal communication in both French and English. - Leadership and team‑building capabilities; collaborative, interpersonal skills. - Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for external audiences. - Start‑up environment experience preferred. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. - Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIM, AMA, or equivalent) optional but advantageous.
