Job Title: Vice President, Supply Chain Planning
Role Summary: Lead global demand, supply, and inventory planning to ensure optimal product availability, cost efficiency, and service level compliance across DTC, retail, and marketplace channels.
Expectations: Deliver measurable improvements in customer service, inventory turns, lead time, supplier performance, and net working capital while managing a remote planning team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute global demand, supply, and inventory strategies that align with commercial plans and financial objectives.
- Own and drive the end‑to‑end Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, facilitating monthly cycles and integrating forecast, capacity, and financial data into a single business plan.
- Develop and maintain inventory policies, safety stock levels, and SLOB/write‑off procedures to balance service levels and working capital.
- Build and sustain high‑performing relationships with key suppliers, collaborating with Procurement and Quality to improve OTIF, lead times, and cost.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, streamlining planning workflows, reducing manual effort, and enhancing forecast accuracy.
- Incorporate sustainability goals into supply‑chain operations, reducing carbon footprint and waste.
- Lead risk management efforts, identifying and mitigating supply‑chain disruptions.
Required Skills:
- Strategic leadership and cross‑functional collaboration across Commercial, Finance, Marketing, Procurement, Quality, IT, and Product Development.
- Expertise in global demand‑supply planning, S&OP, inventory optimization, and supplier relationship management.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with proficiency in planning analytics and performance metrics.
- Experience leading and developing remote teams and driving change management.
- Excellent communication skills, able to present complex data to senior leadership.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Relevant supply‑chain certifications (e.g., APICS CSCP, CPSM, SCOR, Six Sigma) preferred.
