Job Title: Senior IT Security Engineer (M/F)
Role Summary:
Senior IT Security Engineer responsible for protecting and enhancing the resilience of the organization’s information systems through daily exploitation of security tools, incident management, vulnerability assessment, and project leadership for security solution deployment, ensuring compliance with corporate security governance.
Expectations:
Maintain operational readiness of security architecture, provide timely incident response and reporting, drive continuous improvement, and integrate security requirements into all IT and business projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and operate security solutions (firewalls, EDR/XDR, SIEM, proxy, IAM, MFA, CASB).
- Analyze, triage, and coordinate resolution of security alerts and incidents; produce incident reports.
- Conduct vulnerability scans, monitor patches, and manage remediation plans.
- Lead security solution deployment projects and continuous improvement initiatives (automation, simplification).
- Incorporate security requirements into project designs (Security by Design).
- Update and maintain technical and operational documentation.
- Contribute to security standards, procedures, and audits.
- Participate in user awareness activities.
- Collaborate on infrastructure evolution projects and integration of new sites or technologies.
Required Skills:
- Expert knowledge of NGFWs, EDR/XDR, SIEM, IAM, PKI, and Palo Alto Networks products.
- Proficient with Windows, Active Directory/Azure AD, Microsoft 365, VMware, Linux.
- Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, segmentation).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP); Azure and Office 365 preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, ANSSI, ITIL, and security compliance frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to document, communicate clearly, and manage priorities.
- Professional proficiency in English.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of IT security experience (operations and projects).
- Relevant certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), CISSP, CISM, or equivalent preferred.
