Job Description
Job title: Supply Chain Inventory Analyst Role Summary: Serve as the primary interface between manufacturing, supply‑chain planning, and suppliers to ensure timely, accurate material availability, maintain MRP integrity, and prevent production disruptions. Expectations: Deliver precise purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, resolve variances, and support continuous improvement of material planning processes within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: - Generate and manage purchase orders in SAP MRP, updating material due dates and communicating timing to production teams. - Maintain accurate material master data, logistics data, and supply parameters within ERP systems. - Monitor supplier performance, report delays, risks, and mitigate shortages against production schedules. - Coordinate shipments, prepare and verify required documentation, and validate MRP demand vs. supply. - Manage new part introductions, BOM updates, and procurement of new materials. - Conduct root‑cause analysis of supply‑chain variances and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. - Support order management processes, supplier payments, and cross‑functional coordination. Required Skills: - 6–8 years of experience in purchasing, production, and inventory management. - Proficiency with MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite). - Advanced Microsoft Excel and analytical skills. - Strong knowledge of manufacturing control, contract administration, and technical materials (PCBA, harnesses, machined parts). - Ability to identify process issues and drive continuous improvement. - Effective teamwork and communication skills.
