Job Description

Job title Implementation Director Role Summary Lead and deliver high‑impact, complex healthcare technology implementations for Cedar’s largest, most strategic clients, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget, high‑quality execution and post‑go‑live support while driving continuous improvement of delivery processes. Expactations - Independent senior project leadership for end‑to‑end implementation projects. - Executive‑level stakeholder engagement and consensus building across client, delivery, product, and go‑to‑market teams. - Coaching and mentoring of Implementation Managers to handle increased complexity. - Strategic contribution to playbook development, asset creation, and team scaling. Key Responsibilities - Own success of large client implementations, managing all phases of the Ship stage. - Develop, present, and execute detailed project plans and risk mitigation strategies. - Build and maintain productive relationships with client leaders from operations to C‑suite. - Coordinate cross‑functional internal teams (Solution Design, Client Growth, Architects, Engineers) and vendors to ensure seamless delivery. - Remove obstacles proactively, enabling teams to meet objectives. - Coach Implementation Managers, fostering skill growth and resilience. - Continuously refine tooling, processes, and feedback loops to scale delivery excellence. - Represent the customer voice to inform platform and delivery improvements. Required Skills - Senior project management/commercial consulting experience in healthcare technology implementations. - Proven track record with large hospital systems and/or payers, and expertise in Patient Access, Revenue Cycle Management, or EHR implementation. - Ability to juggle multiple interdependent workstreams and meet strict deadlines. - Advanced executive communication and stakeholder risk reporting. - Consultative relationship building with executive leaders, maintaining trust amid conflict. - Creative, resilient problem‑solving and proactive risk mitigation. - Strong analytical and data‑driven decision making.
