Job title: Associate Manager, Events & Education
Role Summary:
Supports the development and execution of the US Events & Education strategy for NARS, driving event sales, brand equity, and customer engagement across key retail partners such as Sephora, ULTA, and Nordstrom. Collaborates with Marketing, Sales, PR, and Global Education teams to deliver cohesive storytelling and activation initiatives.
Expectations:
- 3‑5 years of progressive experience in beauty education, events, or retail activation roles with measurable success.
- Strong strategic, creative, and innovative mindset aligned with beauty retail.
- Highly organized, self‑motivated, adaptive to change, and capable of managing multiple simultaneous projects.
- Proven ability to build and maintain cross‑functional relationships; initiative to anticipate business needs and solve problems.
- Experience with Sephora, ULTA, and/or Nordstrom retail environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the annual retail event calendar for Sephora, ULTA, and Nordstrom.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, PR, and Global Education to create integrated event programs and storytelling.
- Track and analyze event performance; develop retailer‑specific initiatives and competitive event reports.
- Compile and update the Master Event Listing and maintain the Education & Events closet.
- Oversee end‑to‑end logistics: TOA forecasting, allocations, collateral creation, vendor sourcing, shipping, and inventory.
- Manage external vendors for displays, collateral, and shipping; control event budgets, invoices, P.O.’s, and financial reporting.
- Support planning and execution of large‑scale education workshops (e.g., National Sales Conference, Regional Meetings, Sephora SMC, ULTA FLC, Artistry Summits).
- Develop and deploy education materials and free‑give programs to reinforce artist confidence across launches.
- Attend key events and trainings as required.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot) and Smartsheet.
- Strong event logistics, vendor management, and budget oversight capabilities.
- Data analysis and ROI reporting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder collaboration, and problem‑solving.
- Adaptability, time management, and willingness to travel for events.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
- (Optional) Relevant event management or beauty industry certifications.
