We are seeking enthusiastic interns for the Shiseido Hajimari Summer Internship program, a paid, full-time, 9-week experience from June 1st to July 31st. Based in our New Jersey and New York offices, this program offers hands-on exposure to the full product life-cycle, from Marketing to Manufacturing, along with impactful projects, networking opportunities, and professional development workshops. What You’ll Do

Support Specialty Product Development team in all aspects of developing products for launch
Conduct competitive and trend research to support collection ideation
Conduct competitive research on claims for new, limited-edition formulas
Work with Product Development Manager to learn shade matching and approval process
Assist in creating arm swatches, on model and swatch videos for Marketing Bulletins
Assist team in preparing hand samples and fulfilling comp requests for all Specialty launches
Assist team in purchasing competitive products and placing orders on Nu Order for all Specialty launches
Maintain and organize product closets

Requirements

Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor’s degree
Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and highly organized
Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented
Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, safety-first work environment
Have a passion for cosmetics, the beauty industry and keeping up-to-date with industry trends
