**Job Title**
Project Manager, Operations (12‑Month Contract)
**Role Summary**
Lead the SimCorp Dimension implementation by managing project planning, execution, and delivery. Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders, oversee configuration, data migration, testing, and change management, and ensure alignment with business objectives and timelines.
**Expectations**
* Deliver the SimCorp project on time, within scope and budget.
* Act as primary liaison between internal teams, external consultants, and SimCorp.
* Maintain clear communication with executive sponsors and project sponsors.
* Maintain documentation of project status, risks, issues, and decisions.
* Enable operational efficiency and scalability through process improvement.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Manage SimCorp configuration, testing, data migration, and deployment workstreams.
2. Coordinate tasks and resolve issues with SimCorp, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
3. Facilitate defect triage, testing, and dependency management across workstreams.
4. Apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies to meet strategic goals.
5. Lead stakeholder meetings, clarify priorities, and secure SME availability.
6. Document project objectives, benefits, and inter‑dependencies with sponsors.
7. Communicate progress, risks, and issues transparently across teams.
8. Perform business analysis: workflow mapping, data analysis, root cause investigations.
9. Identify and lead operational excellence opportunities.
10. Monitor metrics, report performance, and quantify benefits of changes.
11. Support change management: obtain approvals, implement new processes, and track impact.
**Required Skills**
* Project management (3–5 yrs, financial services preferred).
* Knowledge of wealth management, financial markets, and asset management.
* Experience with SimCorp Dimension (asset).
* Proficiency with project delivery tools, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication.
* Ability to manage complex technology implementations with vendors/external consultants.
* Process optimization and change management awareness (asset).
**Required Education & Certifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, IT, or related discipline.
* Project Management education and/or certifications (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent) – preferred.
