Job Description
**Job Title**: Senior Relationship Manager **Role Summary**: Lead the strategic management of Tier 1 and Tier 2 client portfolios within the fintech banking and payments sector, driving revenue growth, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency through proactive relationship building and product cross‑selling. **Expectations**: - Deliver consistent, long‑term client retention and growth across a high‑value portfolio. - Serve as the primary escalation point for complex client issues. - Collaborate cross‑functionally to align product delivery with client needs. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Own and manage a portfolio of Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention. 2. Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities to maximize account value and meet revenue forecasts. 3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations, including C‑level executives. 4. Act as the main point of contact for escalations, complex queries, and strategic account direction. 5. Coordinate with operations to ensure timely resolution of client issues. 6. Conduct account planning sessions, capturing client requirements to inform product enhancements and revenue growth. 7. Monitor client communication channels and proactively offer support and best‑practice advice. 8. Liaise with internal teams (product, operations, finance, compliance) to deliver end‑to‑end client success. **Required Skills** - Minimum 10–15 years of client‑facing experience in FX, banking, cross‑border payments, or fintech, with at least 8 years directly related to the sector. - Strong relationship‑management and consultative selling abilities. - Proficiency in modern communication and project‑management tools (e.g., Slack, Trello, HubSpot). - Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM, including reporting and client‑management functions. - Solid understanding of foreign exchange, bank transfer, and fintech industry dynamics. - Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of handling challenging conversations and persuasive C‑level interactions. - Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to drive projects and operational improvements. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Professional certifications in sales, CRM, or fintech (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Certified Financial Services Auditor) are an advantage but not mandatory.
