Job Description: Job title: Full Stack Software Engineer Role Summary: Design, implement, and maintain a proprietary operating system that drives modern factory operations. Work autonomously in a high‑autonomy, fast‑moving environment to transform complex physical problems into scalable software solutions that directly influence real‑world production. Expectations: - 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience. - Product‑first mindset with a passion for delivering software that has tangible industrial impact. - Proven ability to work independently and rapidly iterate in a fast‑paced, high‑autonomy setting. - Experience as a founding or early engineer at a startup. - Familiarity with high‑reliability domains (aerospace, defense, etc.) is a plus but not required. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and develop core operating system components using TypeScript and React for the front‑end. - Build and maintain database schemas and data access layers in PostgreSQL. - Deploy and manage infrastructure on AWS, provisioning and scaling resources with Terraform. - Implement modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and monitoring). - Translate messy, real‑world engineering challenges into robust, maintainable code. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define product requirements and success metrics. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes. Required Skills: - Strong full‑stack development experience (TypeScript, React, Node.js). - Proficiency with PostgreSQL and relational database design. - Hands‑on experience deploying to AWS (Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch). - Terraform expertise for infrastructure as code. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, containerization, and Kubernetes. - Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to thrive in high‑autonomy environments. - Hands‑on experience in startup culture or fast‑growth environments.
