**Job Title**: Senior ServiceNow Developer
**Role Summary**
Lead end‑to‑end ServiceNow development, architecture, and administration, ensuring robust ITSM processes and secure, scalable platform enhancements. Deliver custom solutions, troubleshoot escalations, and advise on integration strategy, while maintaining high data integrity and compliance standards.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 10 years of technology development experience, with at least 5 years focused on ServiceNow.
- Proven ability to manage and deliver incident, change, problem, request, catalog, asset, and CMDB functions.
- Strong leadership in platform configuration, security, and integration governance.
- Demonstrated proficiency in scripting, workflow/flow designer, and UI customization.
- Capacity to resolve technical escalations, conduct root‑cause analysis, and provide actionable remediation.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Administer and maintain ServiceNow instance: incidents, changes, problems, requests, catalog items, assets, CMDB.
- Configure user and group access, ACLs, security roles, and data retention policies.
- Design, implement, and test minor platform changes: form layouts, UI policies, client scripts, notifications, workflows, and flows.
- Develop and deploy scheduled jobs, integration scripts, and outbound REST connectors.
- Oversee application and plugin lifecycle, including installation, upgrade, and decommissioning.
- Provide architectural oversight to ensure technical solutions align with enterprise standards.
- Resolve high‑severity defects and technical escalations, performing root‑cause analysis.
- Advise stakeholders on current and future integrations, recommending best practices.
- Produce reporting and dashboards to support process leads and operators.
**Required Skills**
- Deep expertise in Incident, Change, Problem, Request, Catalog, Asset, and CMDB modules.
- Advanced scripting (JavaScript, ServiceNow API, Flow Designer, Legacy Workflow).
- UI configuration: Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Form Design.
- Security administration: ACLs, role hierarchy, data security.
- Integration: Outbound REST, inbound/outbound web services, IntegrationHub.
- Workflow and Flow Designer development, scheduled jobs.
- Application and plugin management.
- Experience with Agent Workspace and Service Operations Workspace.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or equivalent.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or equivalent.
- Optional: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) for ITSM, or ServiceNow IntegrationHub certification.
