Job Description
**Job Title**: Sales Engineer **Role Summary**: Drive new business and expand existing accounts for a digital engineering and data platform, serving industrial, engineering, and process customers. **Expectations**: - Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets. - Maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management in Salesforce using MEDDPICC. - Deliver high‑value, technology‑driven presentations and value propositions to senior customer stakeholders. - Travel frequently within the Benelux region and on occasion internationally. **Key Responsibilities**: 1. Identify and acquire new customers not currently using the platform. 2. Drive new‑logo growth and expand market presence. 3. Develop and grow existing accounts through upsell and cross‑sell opportunities. 4. Build long‑term, trusted relationships at all levels. 5. Create, execute, and monitor detailed account plans from prospecting to closing. 6. Collaborate with technical, product, and marketing teams to tailor solutions. 7. Address customer issues proactively and ensure high satisfaction. 8. Keep up‑to‑date on product, industry trends, and competitive positioning. 9. Participate in continuous learning and product/sales training. **Required Skills**: - 3+ years of direct B2B sales experience or a proven track record in direct sales. - Proven ability to close complex software or technology deals. - Strong business development background with focus on new‑customer acquisition. - Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills. - Fluency in French and English; Dutch a plus. - Familiarity with Salesforce and MEDDPICC methodology. - Knowledge of IT/OT applications within process or automation industries. - Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, electricity, or a related field. - Valid driving licence.
