Job Title: Sales Development Representative
Role Summary: Drive outbound prospecting and event-based lead generation for a high‑growth HR‑tech startup, converting qualified prospects into Stage 2 opportunities and contributing to revenue targets.
Expectations: Deliver measurable Stage 2 deal pipeline, maintain high caller and email productivity, and collaborate on continuous messaging improvement across cross‑functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute multi‑channel outbound sequences (LinkedIn, email, phone) to identify and qualify high‑potential UK prospects within the defined SAM.
- Represent the company at UK events, engage attendees, capture leads, and maximize event ROI through follow‑up campaigns.
- Develop and articulate AE‑level product knowledge to tailor conversations and establish credibility with prospects.
- Partner with Growth Marketing, Sales, RevOps, and Partnerships to align playbooks, co‑create growth sprints, and experiment with new outreach tactics.
- Track and report progress against Stage 2 deal quotas, lead source mix, and key performance indicators.
- Maintain accurate activity records in HubSpot, Clay, Gong, and Notion, ensuring data integrity for pipeline management.
- Adapt messaging and targeting iteratively based on feedback, event insights, and market shifts.
Required Skills:
- 1‑2 years of experience in sales development, recruitment, events marketing, or a customer‑facing role.
- Strong outbound execution skills: email copywriting, LinkedIn outreach, cold calling, and use of prospecting tools.
- Commercial awareness: connect outbound activities to revenue outcomes and articulate “why” behind strategies.
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow‑through; proactive, resilient, and self‑directed.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally, influence without authority, and take ownership of results.
- Comfortable engaging prospects in person, over the phone, and via digital channels.
- Experience with remote work in a dynamic startup environment.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, HR, or related field (preferred).
- Proficiency with CRM (HubSpot), pipeline tools (Clay, Gong), outreach platforms (HeyReach), and collaboration suites (Notion).
- No specific certifications required, but familiarity with sales outreach and logging systems is essential.
