Job title: Chief Architect
Role Summary: Lead the design, development, and delivery of cloud‑native microservices using Spring Boot and Core Java on Microsoft Azure. Own architecture, CI/CD pipeline, API design, data integration, and DevOps practices while mentoring teams and enforcing coding standards.
Expectations: Deliver scalable, secure, and cost‑efficient solutions; drive technical excellence; collaborate with business stakeholders; guide Agile teams to high‑quality releases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and lead microservices with Spring Boot/Core Java.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines targeting Azure (build, test, deployment).
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and data migration tasks.
- Architect Azure‑based cloud solutions using containers and marketplace services.
- Set and enforce architectural standards, design patterns, secure coding, and authentication/authorization best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and promote DevOps practices.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs; lead Agile ceremonies and ensure delivery.
Required Skills:
- Core Java (8+ years) + Spring Boot (6+ years) with microservices.
- Microsoft Azure (deployment, containerization, CI/CD).
- RESTful API design, SQL/NoSQL (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- DevOps & CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, secure coding, authentication/authorization.
- Experience with Kafka/event‑driven architecture (plus).
- Agile leadership, code reviews, technical mentorship, design patterns, performance tuning, cost optimization.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Oracle Certified Professional – Java SE, or equivalent.
