**Job Title:** AWS DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Design, automate, and maintain AWS cloud environments for high‑availability, secure, and scalable production systems. Develop infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, build and manage CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with security and platform teams to enforce best practices.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver reliable, secure, and performant cloud solutions covering networking, compute, storage, and application services.
- Leverage IaC, CI/CD, and container orchestration to accelerate deployments and reduce operational risk.
- Continuously assess infrastructure for performance bottlenecks, cost efficiency, and compliance, recommending improvements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Author and test Terraform modules for full cloud stack provisioning.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Git, Argo CD, Jenkins, GitLab) for application, infrastructure, and configuration changes.
- Manage AWS services (IAM, VPC, EKS, API Gateway, CloudFront, Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3, RDS, Route 53).
- Deploy, automate, and monitor Kubernetes clusters, Helm charts, and Docker containers.
- Collaborate with security teams to embed ScaDeOps practices, secrets management (Vault, Secrets Manager), and compliance controls.
- Troubleshoot production incidents, root‑cause analysis, and post‑incident reviews.
- Optimize architecture for scalability, resilience, and cost, including networking (Transit GW, peering, NAT) and traffic routing (Istio, Nginx).
- Advise on tool selection and process improvements, ensuring adherence to Agile/Scrum practices.
**Required Skills:**
- 5+ years IT experience focused on SecDevOps.
- Mastery of Terraform and AWS IaC.
- Extensive AWS service knowledge (IAM, VPC, EKS, CloudFront, API Gateway, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, RDS, Route 53).
- Proven CI/CD experience with Git, Argo CD, Jenkins, GitLab, or homologous tools.
- Kubernetes (EKS) and container orchestration expertise.
- Strong scripting in Bash/Shell and Python; familiarity with Go, YAML/JSON.
- Networking fundamentals (VPC, subnets, peering, NAT, Transit Gateway).
- Monitoring proficiency (DataDog, Splunk, ELK, Grafana).
- Agile/Scrum methodology understanding.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional and/or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate preferred.
- Terraform Associate certification is advantageous.
