Job Summary
Reliance One is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join a fast-paced, collaborative environment in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Terraform, AWS Cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes, along with a strong understanding of SecDevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
Write well-defined, tested code using IaC (Terraform) and build pipelines to enforce architecture standards.
Collaborate with cybersecurity and web security teams to ensure technical compliance.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in complex connected vehicle and telematics systems.
Deploy, automate, manage, and maintain AWS cloud-based production environments.
Drive performance, scalability, and reliability improvements across cloud systems.
Manage creation, release, and configuration of production systems.
Support continuous improvement by adopting new tools, technologies, and best practices.
Ensure system availability, performance, and security.
Top Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Information Technology with a focus on SecDevOps practices.
Mastery in IaC (Terraform), AWS Cloud, CI/CD (Git/Argo), and Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience with AWS services — IAM, VPC, EKS, CloudFront, API Gateway.
Strong scripting skills in Bash/Shell and Python.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and CI/CD tools.
Strong analytical, reasoning, and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Experience (Added Bonus)
AWS: ECS, EC2, S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda, Cognito, RDS, Route 53, and more.
IaC: Terraform (preferred), CloudFormation.
CI/CD: GitLab (preferred), Jenkins, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Argo CD, Docker, Helm.
Secrets Management: HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager.
Networking: Transit GW, VPC Peering, NAT, Istio, Nginx.
Scripting: Python, Go, Bash, YAML, JSON.
Monitoring: DataDog, Splunk, ELK, Grafana.
