Job Description
**Job title** Network Administrator **Role Summary** Design, deploy, and maintain secure lane-wide, wide area, and wireless LAN networks for voice and data services. Ensure high availability, performance, and compliance with information security standards while supporting on‑call incidents, vendor coordination, and long‑term technology roadmaps. **Expectations** - Minimum 3–5 years of hands‑on Network Administration. - On‑call participation for incident response. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. - Strong collaboration with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** - Monitor, administer, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VoIP infrastructure. - Install, configure, and upgrade network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls). - Implement and enforce network security controls (firewalls, IPS, VPNs). - Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and change records. - Collaborate with vendors and telecom service providers. - Participate in on‑call rotation and provide timely incident resolution. - Assist in technology roadmap development and solution rationalization. **Required Skills** - Microsoft Windows Network OS, DNS, DHCP administration. - Proficiency with Cisco, Palo Alto, or Juniper Mist technologies. - Knowledge of VOIP, MPLS, BGP, VLAN, and switch/router configuration. - Understanding of firewalls, IPS, VPN, and network security best practices. - Use of network monitoring and management tools. - Effective communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences. - Strong problem‑solving, time‑management, and organizational abilities. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Associate degree from an accredited institution or equivalent education/experience. - Certifications (preferred): - CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) - CCNP Switch 350‑401 - ITIL Foundation (Service Management) - PCNSE (Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer) - Juniper certifications ---
