Systems and Network Administrator
Job Description
Job title: Systems and Network Administrator Role Summary: Design, implement, and maintain a secure hybrid IT infrastructure (on‑premises, Azure, VMware/Nutanix). Provide Tier‑3 desktop and infrastructure support, vendor management, and project delivery while embedding cybersecurity best practices. Expactations: Deliver high‑availability systems and networks, enforce compliance with NIST/CIS/ISO 27001, and proactively manage risk through threat detection, patching, and incident response. Lead cloud migrations, virtualization upgrades, and backup testing to ensure business continuity. Key Responsibilities: - Administer Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory, Azure AD, Intune, and associated M365 services. - Secure hybrid environments with firewalls, VPNs, Conditional Access, MFA, DLP, and compliance policies. - Configure and maintain LAN, WLAN, WAN, and VPN infrastructures. - Perform system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management for servers, endpoints, and key applications. - Manage VMware vSphere and Nutanix AHV/Prism environments for provisioning, tuning, and HA. - Monitor performance, analyze trends, and plan capacity/optimization. - Maintain and test backup, replication, and disaster recovery plans. - Provide Tier‑3 support for complex infrastructure, systems, or network issues. - Manage hardware inventory, software licenses, and vendor contracts. - Document configurations, topology, SOPs, and security policies. - Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions for scalability and security. Required Skills: - 5–7 years of hybrid systems/network/cloud administration experience. - Deep knowledge of Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory, M365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint). - Proficiency in VMware vSphere 6/7 and Nutanix AHV/Prism, Veeam, Azure Backup. - Strong networking skills (VLANs, routing, VPNs, firewalls, Extreme Networks, SonicWALL). - Experience with security tools (Azure Defender, Sentinel, Intune Compliance, DLP). - Scripting: PowerShell, Azure CLI. - Analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation abilities. Job Title: Accounts Payable Administrator Role Summary: Process, reconcile, and administer day‑to‑day accounts payable activities for both inventory and non‑inventory vendors. Ensure accurate, timely payments, resolve discrepancies, and support general accounting functions, while maintaining compliance with internal controls and vendor relationships. Expectations: - Maintain an error‑free payment cycle and uphold high accuracy standards. - Deliver on tight deadlines in a fast‑paced distribution environment. - Communicate effectively with vendors and cross‑functional teams. - Demonstrate strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Key Responsibilities: - Match receiving paperwork with invoices and generate weekly payments for major vendor accounts. - Process and document miscellaneous vendor billings and monthly vendor allowances. - Investigate and resolve invoice‑PO‑receiving discrepancies and vendor inquiries. - Prepare payment templates, notify vendors of wire payment details, and apply open credits before issuance. - Process CIA payments by matching PO and vendor CIA pro‑forma invoice. - Review and account for in‑transit inventory in the Received/Not Invoiced Purchasing Report. - File and reconcile vendor accounts regularly. - Process bi‑weekly payments for non‑inventory vendors and coordinate with foreign sales offices for document entry and approvals. - Manage legal entity AP cycles, received funds requests, and logistics fund request logs. - File all paperwork in accordance with country‑specific processes. - Support ad‑hoc management requests, general accounting tasks, AR administrative duties, and general ledger activities. - Cross‑train on inventory and non‑inventory A/P to provide coverage. Required Skills: - 2+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable. - Strong understanding of purchase‑to‑pay cycle, logistics integration, and financial reconciliations. - High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. - Effective verbal and written communication; capability to resolve ambiguity. - Proficient in Microsoft Word; intermediate‑to‑advanced Excel skills. - Ability to work independently and as a team player. - Customer‑service oriented and able to build professional relationships across all levels. Required Education & Certifications: - Degree or diploma in Business (Accounting major preferred). - Knowledge of Great Plains 2013/2015 is an asset. - Basic accounting skills; familiarity with reconciling and analysis.
