Job Description
Job Title: Associate Cloud Architect Role Summary Associate Cloud Architect designs and implements Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud solutions for medium‑to‑enterprise clients, working under senior architects. The role focuses on modernizing tenants, planning migrations, and deploying secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and networking to meet business objectives. Expectations - Deliver quality cloud migration and modernization solutions for Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Modern Workplace services. - Support and optimize deployed infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost. - Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. - Continually update knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities - Evaluate existing IT environments and recommend architectural improvements for cloud migration, performance, and cost efficiency. - Design and implement Microsoft 365 tenant modernization and Entra ID–based mailbox/identity migrations. - Design, deploy, and support cloud‑based infrastructure, networking, and security solutions aligned with client requirements. - Plan and deploy scalable, highly available cloud services using Azure networking, VPN, firewalls, load balancers, and related technologies. - Assess Microsoft 365 enterprise licensing options and advise on optimal configurations. - Collaborate with developers, engineers, and project managers to meet project timelines and business goals. - Monitor cloud services, troubleshoot issues, and recommend performance optimizations. - Share emerging trends and best practices with the team. Required Skills - 2+ years of hands‑on Microsoft 365 experience (Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, Defender). - Basic design, deployment, and support of virtual networks, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Modern Workplace (Admin Center, Teams, Defender). - Understanding of security, compliance, and data protection for cloud solutions. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills. - Clear written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. Required Education & Certifications - High school diploma or GED (minimum); bachelor’s degree preferred. - Microsoft certifications: MS‑900 (Microsoft 365 Fundamentals), AZ‑900 (Azure Fundamentals), or MS‑102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator) are highly desired. ---
