Job title: Lead Platform Engineer
Role Summary: Lead the design, deployment, and evolution of cloud and data infrastructure for production workloads, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Own AWS cloud environments, Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and observability across the organization.
Expectations: Minimum 5 years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering. Proven ownership of large‑scale cloud infrastructure, automated pipelines, and data platforms. Ability to work autonomously, drive best practices, and communicate effectively in English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
- Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters to support stable, high‑performance services.
- Build and refine CI/CD pipelines that accelerate delivery and reduce friction for developers.
- Enhance developer experience through tooling, environment standardization, and workflow improvements.
- Deploy, manage, and scale data platform and warehouse infrastructures in collaboration with data teams.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions; lead incident response and preventive measures.
- Define and track service level indicators; contribute to technical architecture decisions and cross‑team collaboration.
Required Skills:
- Deep hands‑on experience with AWS services, Terraform, and Kubernetes (production).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD, containerization, and automated build/test/deploy processes.
- Familiarity with data‑intensive platforms, data workflows, and warehouse architectures.
- Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and IAM principles.
- Proficiency with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Demonstrated autonomy, analytical rigor, and a detail‑oriented mindset.
- Professional English communication skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Preferable certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Terraform Associate.
