Job title: Embedded Systems Engineer Intern Role Summary: An entry‑level internship focused on mastering the software and system architecture of a telehandler platform. The incumbent first documents current design, then contributes to architecture refinement, requirement definition, and functional optimization while supporting validation activities. Expectations: - Progress from documentation review to active system design involvement within a 6‑month period. - Demonstrate autonomy, analytical thinking, and clear communication in cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Review and translate legacy system and software documentation into a standardized format. - Extract, structure, and document stakeholder requirements. - Draft and update software requirements and system architecture elements. - Propose optimizations for selected functions based on best‑practice lessons. - Participate in functional analysis and validation review sessions as needed. - Collaborate with system, software engineers, and domain experts to ensure documentation accuracy and alignment with design intent. Required Skills – Technical: - Basic understanding of embedded systems and software architecture. - Ability to read functional diagrams and system specifications. - Familiarity with tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, SysML, or requirement management platforms (e.g., Polarion, Doors). - Knowledge of automotive/off‑road machine protocols (CAN, LIN), I/O mappings, and behavior modeling is a plus. Required Skills – Soft: - Curiosity and willingness to engage with complex technical topics. - Structured, analytical thinking. - Strong written and verbal communication. - Team collaboration and independent problem solving. Required Education & Certifications: - 4th or 5th year university student in Embedded Systems, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a closely related field. - No mandatory certifications required.
