Job Description: Data Engineer Intern Role Summary: Hands-on data engineering experience in a fast-paced AI startup environment. Expectations: Support end-to-end data architecture development, optimize data flows, implement analytics tools, and conduct research to address business and industry requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Design, test, and maintain large-scale data architectures and processing systems. - Develop data ingestion, ingestion pipelines, and scalable data management solutions. - Construct infrastructure for data extraction, preparation, and loading from diverse sources. - Collaborate with data scientists on project workflows and tools. - Ensure data quality, accessibility, and metadata governance for analytics applications. - Build processes for data mining, modeling, and production workflows. Required Skills: - Advanced SQL and experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB). - Proficiency in Python (scripting, data processing). - Data pipeline design, ETL/ELT processes, and workload automation. - Problem-solving expertise for complex data transformation and dependency management. - Strong analytical skills for data quality assurance and optimization. - Effective communication for cross-functional collaboration.
