Job Description

**Job Title** AWS Cloud Architect **Role Summary** Lead hands‑on migration and advisory activities for a media sales data platform’s transition to a new AWS account, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant architecture. **Expectations** - Accelerate migration timeline and minimize downtime. - Resolve inter‑service connectivity and communication issues. - Implement industry‑standard governance, tagging, and security best practices. - Deliver a cost‑effective, high‑availability environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Troubleshoot connectivity between Lambda, EC2, S3, Athena, and other services. - Audit and validate Security Groups, IAM policies, and resource‑based permissions. - Advise on AWS account structure, resource tagging, and security practices. - Configure VPC endpoints, PrivateLink, and cross‑account access. - Manage secrets and refine IAM policies for migration. - Analyze CloudWatch logs and IAM Policy Simulator to diagnose issues. - Provide migration guidance, documentation, and training to the team. **Required Skills** - Advanced expertise in AWS IAM (identity‑based and resource‑based policies). - Strong knowledge of Lambda, EC2, and VPC networking. - Hands‑on experience with PrivateLink, VPC Endpoints, and cross‑account access. - Familiarity with S3, Glue, and Athena permissions within data pipelines. - Proficiency in troubleshooting connectivity, security, and governance issues. - Ability to work independently and mentor team members. **Required Education & Certifications** - At least one professional‑level AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional). - Minimum 3–5 years of experience in AWS cloud architecture, migration, and security.
