Job Specifications

We are currently looking for an AWS Migration Implementation & Advisory Resource to support a complex AWS environment migration for a media sales data platform. Our team is moving a large data environment to a new AWS account, and we are seeking a hands-on expert who can accelerate the migration process, resolve connectivity challenges, and provide guidance on AWS best practices to ensure a secure, scalable, and efficient architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues between AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, and Athena
Provide advisory support on AWS account structure, resource tagging, and security best practices
Audit and validate Security Groups, IAM policies, and resource-based permissions
Assist with migration activities including VPC endpoints, secret management, and IAM policy refinement
Analyze CloudWatch logs and IAM Policy Simulator to diagnose service communication issues

Required Skills:

Advanced expertise in AWS IAM, including identity-based and resource-based policies
Strong experience with AWS Lambda, EC2, and VPC networking
Hands-on experience with PrivateLink / VPC Endpoints and cross-account access
Familiarity with S3, Glue, and Athena permissions within data pipelines

Certifications:

Candidates must hold at least one professional-level AWS certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or similar. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the implementation, handle complex troubleshooting, and guide the team toward industry-standard AWS architecture and governance.
