Job Description
Job Title: Business Process Architect Role Summary: Design, evaluate, and optimise underwriting and related business processes across a Salesforce‑based workbench and supporting MGA systems. Lead process redesign to enhance efficiency, alignment, and automation within underwriting, claims, pricing, and finance domains on an interim basis. Expectations: Deliver a scalable target state process architecture that improves workflow alignment, increases automation opportunities, and maintains regulatory compliance across underwriting activities. Key Responsibilities: - Analyse current processes within the underwriting workbench and associated applications (claims, pricing, finance, data). - Define and document target state process architecture and integration workflows. - Ensure process alignment across underwriting, claims, pricing and finance systems. - Identify and implement automation opportunities using Power Automate. - Evaluate and integrate relevant Copilot functionalities to boost productivity. - Collaborate with senior underwriting and operational stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutions. - Provide guidance on process governance and change management. Required Skills: - Proven Business Process Architecture experience in the insurance MGA market. - Direct experience with underwriting workbench programmes on Salesforce platforms. - Strong understanding of MGA operational environments. - Practical knowledge of Power Automate and workflow automation tools. - Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or similar AI workflow enhancements. - Ability to translate business requirements into process designs and documentation. - Excellent stakeholder communication and facilitation skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Relevant process architecture or BPM certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMP, or Six Sigma) preferred.
