Interim Business Process Architect - Leading MGA (Outside IR35)

We are working with a leading MGA on a key underwriting transformation programme and are looking to appoint an experienced Business Process Architect on an interim basis.

The core platform is a Salesforce based underwriting workbench, supported by a number of integrated applications across claims, pricing, finance and data. The brief is to review and redesign the processes operating across this application landscape, ensuring they are aligned, efficient and fit for purpose.

This is not a pure technology role. It requires someone who understands underwriting in practice and how workbench driven environments operate within the insurance market.

Scope of Role

Assess current state processes across the underwriting workbench and supporting applications
Define and document target state process architecture
Ensure alignment across underwriting, claims, pricing and finance systems
Identify opportunities for automation using Power Automate
Apply Copilot where appropriate to improve workflow and productivity
Engage senior underwriting and operational stakeholders

Experience Required

Proven experience as a Business Process Architect within the insurance market
Direct experience working on underwriting workbench programmes
Strong understanding of MGA environments
Experience of Salesforce based platforms
Practical experience with Power Automate
Exposure to Copilot
