Job Description
**Job Title:** Administrative Supervisor **Role Summary:** Provide day‑to‑day oversight of administrative operations at a terminal, ensuring processes are implemented accurately, improving efficiency, and supporting overall operational goals. **Expectations:** - Lead and motivate a team of administrative staff in a high‑pressure, deadline‑driven environment. - Act as the liaison between management and other departments to maintain clear communication and effective operations. - Resolve team conflicts and process challenges quickly and constructively. **Key Responsibilities:** - Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily administrative tasks. - Delegate duties, set priorities, and schedule workloads for the team. - Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations for all administrative staff. - Foster a positive, collaborative work environment. - Manage internal and external communications, including email and Salesforce updates. - Identify inefficiencies in administrative processes and lead improvement initiatives. - Resolve conflicts or issues within the team or between departments. - Perform additional related duties as required. **Required Skills:** - 3–5 years of administrative experience, preferably in transportation. - 1–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience. - Strong leadership and motivation capabilities. - Excellent verbal communication; good written communication. - Advanced data entry skills; high accuracy. - Proficiency in MS Office, web applications; knowledge of AS400, TruckMate, Salesforce is an asset. - Conflict resolution and problem‑solving abilities. - Ability to meet deadlines in a high‑volume environment. - Results‑oriented mindset. - Bilingual proficiency in English and French required. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Postsecondary education in business administration, office administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. ---
