ServiceNow Developer
**Role Summary**
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain ServiceNow solutions (forms, workflows, business rules, flow designer, client scripts, integrations) to meet business requirements across ITSM, HRSD, CSM, and custom applications. Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, driving process optimization and platform enhancements.
**Expectations**
- Deliver high‑quality, scalable ServiceNow configurations within agreed timelines.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and validate solutions through UAT.
- Maintain code quality and documentation, complying with governance and best‑practice standards.
- Stay current on ServiceNow releases and emerging features; contribute to roadmap planning.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Configure and extend ServiceNow platform (forms, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, Flow Designer).
- Design and implement custom applications and integrate with third‑party systems via REST/SOAP or Flow Designer.
- Participate in solution design reviews, testing, documentation, and deployment activities.
- Support platform upgrades, instance maintenance, and quality assurance tasks.
- Identify automation and efficiency opportunities; recommend enhancements to improve user experience.
- Facilitate workshops, demos, and UAT sessions; ensure alignment between technical deliverables and business needs.
- Maintain CMDB, Discovery, and governance compliance; contribute to platform strategy discussions.
**Required Skills**
- 1–3 years of hands‑on ServiceNow development (ITSM, HRSD, SecOps, or custom apps).
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow data models, Flow Designer, and configuration options.
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting APIs.
- Ability to create detailed technical documentation, solution designs, and test scripts.
- Strong problem‑solving, proactive, collaborative approach.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required; additional certifications (ITSM, HRSD, CSM, App Engine) a plus.
