**Job Title** Investments and Data Analytics Associate (Venture Capital, Technology Portfolio) **Role Summary** Research‑driven investment professional with 3‑6 years of large‑dataset analysis who joins a technology‑focused venture capital firm. Responsible for generating data‑backed investment theses, sourcing early‑stage opportunities, fostering relationships with founders and portfolio companies, and providing analytical support throughout the investment cycle. **Expectations** - Deliver actionable insights from diverse data sources to inform investment strategy. - Identify and evaluate high‑potential software startups. - Maintain and grow a network of founders, advisors, and stakeholders. - Produce investment memos, fundraising materials, and investor updates. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Convert raw market, financial, and operational data into investment insights and theses. 2. Source and screen early‑stage deals across the technology sector. 3. Build and manage relationships with founders, portfolio companies, and key ecosystem participants. 4. Draft investment memos, valuation models, and pitch decks. 5. Assist with fundraising communications, investor updates, and thought‑leadership pieces. **Required Skills** - Advanced data analytics (SQL, Python, R, or equivalent). - Experience interpreting large, heterogeneous datasets. - Early‑stage company valuation and financial modeling. - Strong written and verbal communication for memo and pitch preparation. - Relationship building, stakeholder management, and collaborative negotiation. - Ability to operate under ambiguity, solve complex problems, and take initiative. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related analytical field. - MBA or advanced business degree preferred (not mandatory). - Certifications in data analysis or finance (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
