Investments and Data Analytics Associate (Venture Capital, Technology Portfolio)

Gold & Aron Conseil is an executive search company. We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a tech-focused venture capital firm. We are seeking a driven investment professional with a proven track record in data analytics to join the investment team to build the firm's software portfolio. This role offers exposure to high-caliber entrepreneurs, deep market research, and early-stage deal execution.

Main Responsibilities

Research & Data Insights: turn raw data (leveraging internal platforms, external networks, and research) into data-driven investment theses.
Source & Evaluate Investments: identify early-stage opportunities.
Build Relationships: engage and nurture relationships with first-rate builders, portfolio companies and stakeholders.
Deal Support: prepare investment memos, fundraising documents, investor updates and thought-leadership content.

Ideal Profile

Experience: 3-6 years in a role focused on analyzing large datasets - industry agnostic - with additional exposure to the buy side, sell side, or venture capital.
Education: a technical/analytical undergraduate major (Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.). MBA is a plus.
Analytics & Financial Acumen: experience in both big data analysis and in early-stage company valuation
Relationship-Building: proven ability to develop and manage relationships; collaborative and capable of influencing a diverse set of stakeholders, including inside the fund.
Mini-CEO Mindset: Comfortable operating with incomplete data, thriving in unstructured environments, and taking initiative to solve complex problems.
