Job Title: Business Development Manager
Role Summary:
Lead the end‑to‑end sales cycle for semiconductor solutions in wearables, audio, health sensing, IoT, robotics, and industrial markets. Drive new OEM acquisition, design‑win ownership, and long‑term partnership development while collaborating with engineering, product, and marketing teams.
Expectations:
- Deliver consistent new business growth and design‑win conversion.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline from evaluation through production.
- Execute accurate forecasting, account plans, and pricing negotiations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to OEMs and ecosystem partners.
- Represent the company at industry events and customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify new OEM prospects; lead early‑stage outreach and product introductions for SoCs.
- Manage the sales pipeline across evaluation, prototyping, design‑in, and production stages.
- Own end‑to‑end customer engagements, from first contact through production, including negotiations and contract documentation.
- Partner with FAEs to support evaluations, SDK bring‑up, and technical milestones.
- Build and maintain relationships with engineering, product, sourcing, and executive stakeholders.
- Engage ecosystem partners (design houses, module makers, integrators, distributors, reps) to expand market reach.
- Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to inform product roadmap and marketing.
- Contribute to quarterly business reviews, long‑term revenue planning, and outbound campaign development.
Required Skills:
- 5–12 years of semiconductor or embedded‑technology sales experience (SoCs, MCUs, sensors, AI hardware).
- Proven record of OEM acquisition, design wins, and account development.
- Deep understanding of semiconductor sales cycles (evaluation → prototyping → design‑in → production).
- Strong technical communication; able to translate concepts for engineering and FAE teams.
- Negotiation, forecasting, planning, and CRM management expertise.
- Excellent relationship‑building and collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.
- Experience managing reps, distributors, or channel partners.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
