Job Description
**Job Title:** Information Technology Support Specialist **Role Summary:** Provides first‑line technical support for end‑users, troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and application issues. Monitors and administers on‑premise and remote IT infrastructure, configures user accounts and devices, and supports e‑commerce applications. Participates in projects and delivers user training while maintaining service quality and security standards. **Expectations:** - Availability for evenings/weekends and occasional after‑hours support. - Minor local travel and occasional U.S. travel. - Independent work with minimal supervision; strong teamwork and customer‑service orientation. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Receive, assess, and resolve end‑user tickets via Helpdesk system. - Monitor and administer on‑premise and remote IT infrastructure. - Configure and set up user accounts, hardware, and software (Active Directory/Entra ID, Azure, Intune, M365). - Provide desk‑side support and remote assistance. - Conduct user training workshops. - Manage e‑commerce customer setup requests. - Contribute to assigned IT projects and network/system monitoring implementations. - Perform routine telecom and smartphone support. - Apply IT security best practices in daily tasks. **Required Skills:** - Strong customer service and communication (written & verbal). - Proficient in Active Directory/Entra ID, Azure, Intune, Microsoft 365. - Experience with telecom/smartphone support and IT security fundamentals. - Ability to troubleshoot using tools, knowledge bases, and internet resources. - Self‑starter attitude with ownership of responsibilities. - Team‑player in collaborative environments. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Post‑secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology or related field. - Minimum 2 + years’ IT support experience, preferably in a medium‑sized, multi‑site organization. - Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+.
