**Job title:** Business Analyst
**Role Summary:** A contract-to-hire Business Analyst will lead the S/4HANA ERP upgrade for a national food service provider, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to drive successful implementation and continuous improvement.
**Expectations:** 6‑month contract (potential hire) – 40‑hour weeks, $45‑$50 per hour, hybrid schedule (on‑site Tues‑Thurs), occasional travel <5%.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Analyze current business processes and translate requirements into system specifications for S/4HANA modules (FI, SD, MM, IM, EWM, AM, AP, AR, CO, PCA).
- Develop detailed User Stories and Acceptance Criteria for Agile development sprints.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (planning, daily stand‑ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives).
- Coordinate with SAP functional and technical teams, external vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- Conduct gap analysis, recommend process enhancements, and validate solutions against business goals.
- Oversee post‑implementation review and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.
- Manage documentation, status reporting, and risk mitigation activities.
**Required Skills:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or related field (preferred).
- ≥4 years of Business Analysis in software development, ERP implementation, or digital product enhancement.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP modules: FI, SD, MM, IM, EWM, AM, AP, AR, CO, PCA; SAP S/4HANA exposure highly desirable.
- ≥1 year working in Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, etc.).
- Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Miro, Azure DevOps a plus.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, capable of juggling multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related).
- (Optional) SAP certification in relevant modules; Agile certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe) preferred.
