Job Description
**Job Title:** Salesforce Administrator **Role Summary:** Lead the configuration, administration, and continuous optimization of a multi‑cloud Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, CPQ & Billing, and Professional Services Automation. Ensure secure, reliable operations, data integrity, and efficient automation while collaborating with Finance, IT, Customer Success, and development teams to deliver new functionality, reporting, and releases. **Expectations:** - Minimum 8 years of Salesforce Administration or Consulting experience in a multi‑cloud environment. - Strong expertise with Salesforce Flows, security models, and release management. - Proven ability to design and deploy automation, manage users and data, and support integrations with external systems. - Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and training skills. **Key Responsibilities:** - Configure and maintain Sales, Service, Experience Clouds, CPQ, and Billing; manage objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and automation. - Administer users, profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, and SSO; uphold least‑privilege principles. - Maintain dev/test/prod environments; schedule releases, sandbox refreshes, and enforce change‑control governance. - Design, test, and deploy Salesforce Flows (record‑triggered, scheduled, sub‑flows, invocables) and approvals to streamline processes. - Ensure data quality: validations, deduplication, imports/exports, and reconciliations; maintain audit trails. - Build and maintain reports/dashboards for finance, CS, and ops; support downstream BI (Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI). - Triage feature requests and incidents, resolve configuration/data/integration issues, and communicate status and metrics. - Author SOPs, runbooks, and user guides; deliver targeted training on new features. - Coordinate with integration/Dev teams on connected apps (HubSpot, Certinia/FinancialForce, Snowflake, Tableau, SharePoint), validating field mappings and data flows. - Participate in UAT, cutovers, and post‑release reviews; track adoption and gather feedback. **Required Skills:** - Salesforce administration & automation (flows, approvals, CPQ & Billing guardrails) - Security & access management (profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, FLS, SSO) - Data stewardship (validation rules, dedupe, Data Loader, Import Wizard) - Reporting & dashboards (Salesforce, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI) - Release & environment management (sandbox strategy, DevOps Center, change sets) - Integration awareness (field mapping, API, webhook, iPaaS) - SOQL basics, basic scripting for verification and logs - Incident triage, documentation, and user training **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - Salesforce Platform Administrator II and/or Platform App Builder (preferred). - Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification (required). - Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification (preferred). - Certinia PSA, Revenue Management, and related ERP/Certinia certifications (plus).
