Job Title: Product Manager
Role Summary: Own the end‑to‑end merchant experience on Portless’s fulfillment platform, translating e‑commerce operational needs into scalable product solutions that drive accuracy, efficiency, and merchant growth.
Expectations: Deliver high‑impact product enhancements that maintain 99.8 % order accuracy, improve inventory visibility, and enable merchant self‑service, while working cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, finance, and merchants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize order routing algorithms, processing workflows, and exception handling.
- Build inventory management tools (forecasting, reorder logic, multi‑location allocation).
- Create inbound logistics workflows, including PO creation, quality control, and reconciliation.
- Develop smart routing to select fulfillment locations based on inventory, cost, and speed.
- Design purchase‑order management covering supplier communication, production tracking, and customs logistics.
- Partner with finance to craft merchant financing products (inventory finance, cash‑flow tools).
- Build self‑service onboarding modules for quick merchant integration.
- Develop merchant‑centric dashboards and reporting for inventory, orders, and performance metrics.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years in e‑commerce operations, inventory management, or merchant‑focused product roles.
- Deep knowledge of order lifecycle, routing algorithms, and exception handling at scale.
- Proficiency in inventory planning, demand forecasting, PO management, and inbound logistics.
- Strong analytical mindset; use operational data and merchant feedback to inform decisions.
- Collaborative communication, ownership mindset, and ability to drive solutions in a fast‑growing environment.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certifications in Supply Chain, Product Management, or related domains are a plus.
