Job Description

Job Title: Customer Service & E-Commerce Intern Role Summary: Assist with customer service and e‑commerce operations for a luxury home décor brand during peak season. Expectations: Respond promptly and politely to customer inquiries, manage product listings and inventory in Shopify, fulfill orders, and support the operations team. Key Responsibilities - Handle customer service emails and phone calls with professionalism. - Add new products to Shopify (titles, descriptions, pricing, images). - Update inventory levels and manage stock accuracy. - Coordinate backorder processes and communicate updates to customers. - Manually process and fulfill online orders. - Provide general assistance to the store and operations team as needed. Required Skills - Strong written and verbal communication. - Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and reliable. - Proficiency with Shopify or quick willingness to learn. - Basic understanding of e‑commerce and retail principles. - Availability to work 10–20 hours per week. Required Education & Certifications - Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (college enrollment or relevant coursework preferred but not required).
