**Job Title**
Cloud Operations Manager – MCO
**Role Summary**
Lead the operational readiness and continuous improvement of AWS‑based cloud platforms for clients. Ensure high availability, performance, security, and compliance through process management, incident handling, and automation.
**Expectations**
- Manage day‑to‑day operations of critical cloud environments
- Guarantee service continuity and meet SLA/SLO targets
- Drive automation, process standardization, and best‑practice adoption
- Interface with clients, architecture, security, DevOps, and project teams
**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate and maintain AWS infrastructures (EC2, RDS, S3, EKS, Lambda, IAM, Aurora) and associated services
- Plan and coordinate on‑call rotations and support coverage
- Enforce ITIL processes: incident, problem, change, and release management
- Coordinate N2/N3 support, technical escalations, and root‑cause analysis
- Define, monitor, and report SLA/SLO metrics; provide dashboards and reports to clients
- Develop and test backup, disaster recovery (PRA/PCA) plans, and recovery procedures
- Automate operational tasks via IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell), and CI/CD (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Collaborate with architecture, security, and DevOps teams to align operational strategies
- Contribute to continuous improvement of cloud MCO practices and documentation
**Required Skills**
- 5+ years in IT operations, production, or MCO with extensive cloud experience
- Deep expertise in AWS services and best‑practice architecture
- Strong knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in Linux/Windows administration, scripting, and automation tools
- Experience with IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Solid application of ITIL framework and DevOps methodologies
- Leadership, stakeholder management, and excellent communication skills
- Problem‑solving mindset with prioritization under incident conditions
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent (Bac+4/5)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, ITIL Foundation) are advantageous but not mandatory.
