Job Description
**Job Title:** Registered Manager **Role Summary:** Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team delivering community‑based residential and supported living services for adults with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs. Ensure person‑centred care, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance while fostering an empowering culture. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care and support. - Maintain full compliance with CQC, safeguarding, and health & safety standards. - Lead by example, embedding continuous improvement and a culture of quality. - Manage staff operations, including recruitment, training, supervision, and rota planning. - Communicate effectively with commissioners, stakeholders, and internal teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and develop a high‑performing staff team. - Embed a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement. - Design and deliver person‑centred support plans aligned with assessed needs. - Promote autonomy, choice, and independence for service users. - Ensure 100 % compliance with CQC standards and safeguarding regulations. - Manage rotas, inductions, training, supervision, and staff development. - Uphold and implement policies and procedures across the service. - Participate in on‑call rota and respond to emergencies. - Follow all health & safety regulations and procedures. - Handle data in line with the Data Protection Act. - Complete required training and demonstrate knowledge of safeguarding, the Mental Capacity Act, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. - Report and escalation of any safeguarding concerns per policy. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience managing a residential services for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. - Strong understanding of CQC compliance and inspection processes. - Leadership and staff development experience. - Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills. - Ability to work independently and participate in on‑call duties. - Full UK driving licence. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Adult Care (or equivalent). - Current knowledge of safeguarding, the Mental Capacity Act, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
