Job Title: Banking Enterprise Risk & Regulatory Reporting SME
Role Summary:
Provide senior-level domain expertise to a product marketing team, translating real-world banking risk & reporting experience into actionable insights, enablement content, and strategic messaging for enterprise risk solutions.
Expectations:
- Serve as the primary banking industry subject matter expert.
- Deliver market‑ready materials and executive‑level guidance for product positioning and go‑to‑market strategies.
- Contribute to product roadmap conversations, pricing considerations, and strategic deal planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create enablement assets (cheat sheets, discovery guides, executive talks).
- Evaluate and advise on solution integration across banking risk ecosystems (ServiceNow, Archer, other GRC tools).
- Validate messaging and positioning for Corporate, Strategic, and Major banks.
- Co‑develop thought‑leadership content, identify market gaps, and support credibility with real‑world use cases.
- Assess Next‑Gen GRC readiness, recommend product gaps and roadmap priorities from a banking perspective.
- Provide input on packaging and pricing specific to banking risk & regulatory buyers.
- Support strategic account planning, join executive‑level calls, and represent industry perspective in webinars or panels.
- Review and refine strategic materials in collaboration with product marketing.
Required Skills:
- 15–20+ years of professional experience, 10+ years in banking.
- Leadership or supporting role in enterprise‑wide risk, internal audit, compliance, or regulatory reporting.
- Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks, GAAP, financial reporting, SOX/ITGC, and banking oversight.
- Experience with supervisory interactions, regulatory exams, remediation programs, and enterprise risk framework redesign.
- Board or risk committee reporting experience.
- Cross‑functional governance leadership across risk, finance, audit, and compliance.
- IT audit exposure and cybersecurity risk awareness.
- Strong executive‑level communication with ability to translate technical details into scalable insights.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, FRM, or equivalent highly desired.
